We are very excited
to bring to New York the TubcuT™.
Throughout the year, many elderly and disabled get hurt badly
by falling. Research shows, a large percentage of such accidents
occur in the bathroom. When the individual tries to climb
in or out of a tub, he/she can slip on the slick high ledge.
Many times immense pain and irreversible damage are the result.
Many elderly and disable fear using their tubs, for this
reason, and therefore inadequately cleanse themselves by
sponge bathing from the sink. TubcuT™ can
help! TubcuT™ creates easy access
to existing tubs, without the cost and hassle of removing
the tub and replacing it for the expensive handicap tubs.
Don’t
worry about lessening the value of your house because of
the absence of a tub. In the event that the TubcuT™ is
no longer needed, the removed section of the tub can be replaced.
By reinstalling the saved piece, the tub will be restored
to its original condition. |
Another
option to tub conversions is the Safeway Step™ from BCI. This
method is similar to the TubcuT™ but
differs in a few ways. The Safeway Step™ is perfect for
a more permanent situation. Instead of finishing off the tub
to look as it was factory-made; we place a slip resistant cap
on the opening of the tub. The cap is sealed well and will
not leak. Also, this method is not reversible; once we place
the cap on the opening we can not refill the gap to return
the tub to its original use. This option is perfect for higher
volume needs and a smaller budget. |
